Binghamstown is a very scenic, large village just a few miles from Belmullet.   It is reached by following the road that passes the famous Belmullet golf course and overlooks Saleen Harbour on the Blacksod peninsula.
ORaghallaigh is located in the centre of Main Street and are the only licensed premises in the village.  There are two bars with facilities for music and social activities as well as a large games room and rear courtyard with smoking area.  Upstairs is a recently refurbished 3-bedroom apartment.
A well established local pub with substantial passing trade.

The entrance from Main Street open into a short corridor that leads to the two bars, games room and male toilets.  The main bar is entered through a door immediately to the right. There is a large L-shaped wooden bar with bar stools and attractive array of optics and glasses.  The beer pumps are located on a manifold that stands proud of the bar leaving the bar uncluttered and easy to clean.
There are two windows to the front, a working cast-iron fireplace and a wall-mounted television location.  The floor is vinyl-covered throughout for easy cleaning and there is ample space for tables and chairs away from the bar.  A door connects to the lounge bar.

At the end of the entrance corridor is a door leading to the lounge bar.  This is an excellent area with a large open space, a full L-shaped bar and a raised dais in the corner for entertainers.  The bar is attractively arranged with the drinks for sale and includes a large refrigerated cabinet for bottled beers and soft drinks.  With overhead spotlights and a vinyl-covered floor this a perfect room for social functions, music nights and meetings or for providing a quieter environment than the main bar. In addition to these area there is a door leading to the female toilets and a door to the rear courtyard and smoking lounge.

GAMES ROOM AND SMOKING ROOM

GAMES ROOM

On entering the pub, to the left is a large games room.  This is a single room measuring 4.93m x 3.88m with ample space for a number of table games, card tables, dart etc. away from the main bars.  There is potential to convert this to a children’s play area, restaurant, grocery sales or other activities separate from the pub trade.
Leading directly from the games room is the central beer distribution room with facilities for cooling and pressurising beer and delivering it to the bar pumps.
A window fronting onto Main Street provides natural light, there are fitted smoke alarms and the floor is covered with sheet vinyl.

SMOKING LOUNGE

At the rear of the lounge bar a door leads to a block and plaster enclosure with corrugated PVC roof, concrete floor and open sides that provides a sheltered space for smokers outside the bar.  This area forms just a part of a much larger rear courtyard with block and plaster boundary walls.

PUBLIC TOILETS

The toilets are located off the main corridor and from the lounge bar.  They are tiled floor to ceiling and fitted with modern equipment.

APARTMENT

On the upper floor is a recently refurbished apartment consiting of an open plan living/dining/kitchen with three bedrooms and a bathroom.  Ideal for staff quarters.
